My little tribute to Ralph Fiennes, for his masterful portrayal of Amon Göth (AKA the “Butcher of Płaszów”) in the Spielberg’s masterpiece “Schindler’s List”
I chose to reproduce “the morning hunt” setting since is the one struck me the most, as it perfectly embodies the concept of “Banality of Evil” (coined by philosopher Hannah Arendt): you wake up in the morning and the first thing you do is kill someone at random and after putting the rifle away -just like it was a fly swatter- you take a good piss.
While the girl in bed moans about the gunshots that woke her up…
Simply chilling.
Sculpted, painted and haired by me.
Despite the rather “minimal display”, it took a lot of work, mainly due to the countless changes during the working. Not to mention the hair implant: one of the things I’ve always hated doing![]()
I’ve to be honest: looking at it closely shows some flaws, but taking a step back, it has a good look![]()
For sure, with a 3D printer, everything would have been simpler, cleaner, and faster, but shortcuts aren’t my style.
